I give Rich/aka RPFlash100 thanks for introducing them to me.  I am grateful for that tidbit of info!  I'm glad you are doing 'em!

There is always that other person to thank.  That is what makes this place so cool, because we simply take what we have learned, and share it!

                  Just B.S.

I haven't run 26.2 in 3 years so want at least 1, plus 100+ miles a month. 100 miles for me just means I wasn't too banged up. I had 10 of those this year but will still hit or come close to 1,500.

I signed up for my first half in 10 years which I'm looking forward to. I have done 8 marathons but only 1 half so also hope to run at least 2 of those.

                    cough cough cough

How about something like "run a half or full marathon in Canada"?LOL

1250 miles (I also said 1000 for the miles game, but that's because I don't want to put myself in a position of having to do more than my body can handle)

Halve my HM PR (not so hard when it's 3:59:18)

                      Sub-23:00 5K

                      Sub-7:00 mile

Hi everyone. I'm back I used to post as Malletgirl02 on the Runnersworld forums. I have not been around lately since I have not been able to run due to my Achilles tendonitis. it is much better since November. It only really hurts right when I get up in the morning, the rest of the day. My goals are

                        1. For my Achilles Tendonitis to be completely heal, and to be cleared to run.
                        2. To be injury free for 2013 and beyond.
                        3. To get my mileage to at least 20 miles per week
                        4. To complete a half marathon by the end of 2013
                        5. To be able to run a sun 7:30 pace 5K.

Formally known on the Runners World forums as Malletgirl02.

My primary goal is to be able to run for more than 3-4 months without getting sidelined by an injury.

                          In transit, arriving on time.

And, most important of all:  FFS, DON'T BREAK ANYTHING!!!!

                            AMEN!

Hi Beth, That is my #1 goal but don't want to jinx it just yet!! I have told enough people around here that I need to do it. The usual reaction is that I will have to do long runs in July (which never dawned on me before - not). I signed up for the Hyannis Half the other day so my training is going okay so far.

                                1. No injuries

                                2.  Break my 4K 16:14 PR or my 2 mile 12:45 Or run the equivalent 5K (20:45).  It might not happen this year but I'm determined! It would seriously make my year.

                                3.  Sub 1:40 HM

                                4. Train for and finish the Chicago Marathon. I'll decide on a time goal after my HM in May.

                                5. Get through my first 2 semesters of nursing school without pulling my hair out!
