Stonefence, your GSD looks like mine growing up. When she was much older, probably 13 or so, someone told my mom she was a Shiloh. She also got called a collie.
Shilohs are giant. Sadie is all German (her parents were imports) and she's not really big (55 lbs.). People do ask me all the time what she is. Collie mix?
Mine was about 55lbs too.
Cute doggies!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Those eyes would make me give a cookie.
Bah. Trying this on my phone was a bad idea.
Singer who runs a smidge
This is Dusty, right after stealing and consuming an entire box of gingersnaps. He is about 110 lbs, complete mutt, and a thief extraordinare!
When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run. The only thing that matters is how we have loved.

And Rocky is the fat one laying in the grass..............
Mia on her first trip to the beach as a puppy.
Zoe and Mia at their favorite river spot. We keep a stick there that we hide in the bushes when we go.
This picture always makes me chuckle, even though the pooch passed away 2 years ago. She had her spot on each piece of furniture and nothing would keep her from them. We were putting flooring down in a room in the basement, so all the stuff from the room was on the couch.
