      What up doe!

I am headed our for 8 and expect a continuation of slow, which has been the theme with my runs this week.  All is well however as I am feeling better by the day as my body repairs itself from getting beat to all hell the past 8 weeks.

I have a massage with Tammy this afternoon which could not come at a better time, she is one of my more aggressive massage therapists (of three) but with no races on the horizon that is fine.

See you peeps on the other side!

Morning.  Pilates and 6-7 miles tonight.  I am sleepy.  Bring me ALL THE COFFEE.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Morning, Rocky and I got 6.5 miles in this morning. A wonderful 57 degrees out, clear skies and just a great run overall.

D, I am keeping my coffee........ I need it

Still sick, but I can't miss more runs (I missed 3 so far). I'll try to run 15 tonight and will combine my tempo run with my GMP run into one long one. We'll see how that turns out under medication.

D., where are you staying in New York?

            Happy Friday, everyone!

Crazy stuff happening in Rick and Damaris' cities. I shouldn't watch the news.

What? You mean more than the ordinary crazy stuff that happens there all the time? I have to go watch, now... Maybe I'll find out that Rick decided to give up wine and Damaris did not color coordinate this morning. That would be crazy.

Happy Friday, kiddos!  BTW, not only is it Friday, but I am looking at 11 days sans WORK once 3:00 hits.  YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH, BOOOOIIIII!

I hit the rail trail before work this morning.  7 easy miles.  It felt good to take it easy.  I've had some hard runs the past week.  LR tomorrow morning and I am not expecting much out of my legs.

                  Barking Mad To Run

Non-running day today.   After work, will pick up my packets for my 5Ks...one on Saturday, one on Sunday.

September 26 is National Pancake Day!

Of course, I happen to be one of the few people who actually don't like pancakes.  French toast or waffles for me, please!

And just for Lily, who likes spiders...

                    Barking Mad To Run

Yer funny, Rick.    Hope your 8 went well, and enjoy the massage.

You can have ALL the coffee in our house, Damaris.  Gail was making some this morning - she likes coffee- and the smell was nauseating..so I left early to go to work.

57 degrees sounds way too cold for this South Texas guy, FreeSoul!   Nice run for you and Rocky!

15 miles, with being sick?  Good luck with that, Lily.   Be careful, don't end up making yourself worse....be wise and stop if you have to!

Haven't been watching the news, so don't know about the crazy stuff in Rick and Damaris' city.  Probably a good thing.  News these days can be so damn depressing.

Happy vacation, Baboon!  Good luck with the long run tomorrow!

Well, what do you think? What normally happens to males when they are neutered, and I am sure the vet threw them away.... unless they are freaks and keep those sorts of things lol.

The vet probably gave them to a cat to eat....

Dear Friday: Thank you for being you.

I guess my body has resigned itself to the schedule I have been forcing on it; woke up at 4:57, 3 minutes before my alarm.

10 miles very slow and creaky this morning.

                                Morning, folks.

Just under 6 miles with the group this morning.

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
