If you could only run one more race (Read 334 times)

No more marathons

If you were told you could only run one more race/event which would it be?

    Boston 2014 - a 33 year journey

Lordy,  I hope there are tapes.

    He's a leaker!

    Just B.S.

Without question an IronMan. Preferrably in Australia.

then what's the point to run just one more race?

I would probably just not entering any race.

I haven't been running enough to really answer that question.  I suppose everyone wants to run Boston...but I'm not overly obsessed with that yet.

I know it would be 26.2 miles, just not sure where at this time.

I would shrug my shoulders and go get my bike Smile Truly, I don't love running enough to have a race I am passionate about to run, and that is perfectly fine with me.

The 5th Avenue Mile in NYC.  I am probably going to do it this year.  I love the mile distance, and to run it in the middle of the busiest streets of NYC is just going to be AWESOME.

Haven't ran enough to know, but some of the RRs from happylily make me wanna run with her. So like Bahamas or Hawaii or something would be awesome. I have grand plans once the kids are goneWink

Oh, that is so nice of you! I'd love to have an accomplice like you. Smile When your kids are older and have left the house, I'll be a little old, but you can push me in a wheelchair and we'll do Hawaii together (I was going to say Big Sur, but that would be mean to you and dangerous for the wheelchair and me... Big grin).

I've always wanted to do/see Vienna. It's a big marathon, and I usually prefer the smaller ones, but it must be awesome to run among such history and architecture. I wonder if they play classical music in the streets, during the race?

I thought about it, but I've heard it's kind of long and not very hard.

It would be a race that doesn't exist yet.

When pondering the popular question hardrock or western... I'm still down with western because I think I have an honest chance of finishing.  I don't think I'd be able to finish hardrock.  But damn it is pretty.
