Made it to the gym and did my weight machines. Then DW still wanted to run, so we went to our usual track (the downscale one). I was really tired right from the start and only went 3 miles, then when we were done, I stepped right in front of the psycho runner. I call her Chuckie. No words, just a real dirty look. Got out of there fast.
Had this very good cab with pasta dinner, Pavonada, from Chile, $5 from Aldi.

Been a bit AWOL, trying to revamp my exercise. I think I'm going to hold back running to 8-10 miles a week. I've been having trouble with shin splints (started with bad shoes and it's lingered), and I think my big size isn't helping. I'm starting doing extra time on the treadmill walking at an incline. I've also started calorie tracking (boo) and as of this morning I was down to 215lbs. Nearly 40lbs gone, but still a ways from my goal of 170-190.
3.1 miles done today, last .1 were at 6.5 mph for an overall time of 32:45. Color Run on Saturday, surgery in 18 days, ahh.

Thanks Kristen and Awood Last week was miserable, I had to ice my leg nearly every day and I couldn't get long runs in. I don't know if I was adjusting to the 12 mile week before? I had very little pain during my run today.
