YAYpril - B-Plus
Good morning, ladies and gents!
Bruce, enjoy your LR later.
Scott, have a great 7-miler and hot tub foray!
Beth, nice job with the miles and swims despite being very busy with your aunt. I hope it gets easier for you.
Ami, LOL, I know the feeling. Kudos for getting it done instead of lazying it up.
DaveP, have a great long run! This made me laugh:
Ami, excellent training advice, you should write a book. Actually now you know what exercise feels like to the average American, and why most don't want to do any.
Tom, have a good recovery run. You earned an easy day for sure.
Shirfan, enjoy your long run today!
Kay, fantastic milestone! You should feel badass. Great job.
Robert, great 8+ miles this morning.
As for me, 3.5 to 4 miles recovery run later. Have a great day, everyone!

Awesome!! Enjoy the Yuengling...you earned it!
PRs: 5K 22:59, 10K 46:54,HM: 1:51:15
BruceD555, enjoy your nap and LR.
Scott, have fun eating a yummy breakfast, spending time with family, and running.
Beth, not bad at all. I'm impressed!
AmiK, how, how, HOW did you manage to run at all today after yesterday?
DaveP MI, have a great LR.
Tom, enjoy cross-training with yard work and the recovery run.
Shirfan, have an amazing LR.
Kay, congratulations on the distance PR! Brava on a great LR pace.
Robert, bravo on the 8.2 and on reaching 200 miles already.
AprilRunner, enjoy the 3.5 to four later.
Dave, congratulations!
Thirty push-ups and 12.0 miles are done. 1:53:41. 9:29 pace. I think my Garmin is lying. I don't believe that that pace felt so comfortable for such a distance, especially since the plan was for ten, perhaps eleven, miles
In other news, today's run helped me pick a shoe for my half: the Inov8 F-Lite 195.
good morning all.
ran 8 easy this morning...now having some coffee and watching the LA Marathon on local tv.
will check back later...
marathon pr - 3:16
What up doe!
Glad to see everyone doing well!
I got 6.2 easy miles done. I thought about doing a little bit more after that, then smacked myself!
Good morning all. Im feeling a little slow today.
D2 - Huge congrats on the half. Looking forward to the report.
10 miles for me today. A new distance PR, and my first ever double digit run! 1:49:10 total time, average pace 10:55/mile. I'll take it. I'm a happy girl!
Kay, that's awesome. I'm happy for you to hit double digits, and I know what that does for your confidence. I'm assuming you weren't completely wiped out and sore when you finished? Hopefully you can get a couple more of those in before race day. I ran my HM with only 11 miles as my distance PR, so you should feel good about getting 10 in with a little more than a month left.
Wickedly Average
Rumor has it that Red Sparkle has finished a 100 mile event in 24:53:57. Unconfirmed, though!

Ric-G, great easy eight. And early!
Rick, sweet 6.2.
(((Beth))) You amaze me. I don't know how you find the time or energy to do all you do.
Morning, dailies! I've got 5.6 on the schedule today at what will likely be a very slow pace. Legs feel sore but otherwise good from yesterday's race, so as long as soreness is the only issue I might as well get the miles in. DD wants to go to the gym too, but I'm not sure I will join her.
Bruce- Hope your LR is warmer than last week's LR!
Scott- Good luck finding motivation to run after the hot tub!
Beth- I got behind on the dailies this week and missed your update! I hope that you are able to get into a better routine with your aunt so that you have time for yourself! And I second (third?) the Jersey Shore advice! Either she'll change the channel or conversations with her will start to get more interesting.
Ami- It's good that you were able to sacrifice yourself like that in the name of finding a slow running pace.
DaveP- Hope the roads are indeed dry for your LR!
Tom- Enjoy the recovery run!
Shirfan- Enjoy the LR!
Kay- Congrats on the 10 miler! That was such a huge mental milestone for me!
Robert- Nice run today!
April- Enjoy the recovery run!
D2- I've already said it in the penguin thread, but it's worth repeating- CONGRATULATIONS!
Basya- Hooray! I love those runs when I feel like the Garmin must be wrong because that pace couldn't possibly have felt like that!
Ric- Nice run! Hope you see Damaris go by!
LRB- Funny! I saw some of the marathon trainers out getting extra miles after the 10 mile race yesterday. They got some applause as they came through because it was right after the awards were wrapping up.
B+- You've earned a slow day!
Luke- Hiya!
Oh yeah, I ran also!
4 miles, easy pace, 9:23. No unexpected aches or pains, I actually felt pretty good out there today. Now, some lunch and a little yard work.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day to all,
I did my long run yesterday so I am not sure if I will take a short leisurely run today or just enjoy a rest day. Took my DW out to our favorite breakfast place this morning, ah the simple things in life.
Yuengling beer, can’t get that in my area, only when I get down to the DC area, enjoy one for the rest of us.
Kay – great job on hitting double digits.
Ron's PRs 5K 24:14 (12/07/2013); Half Marathon 1:53:33 (5/26/2013)
Wow, sorry for the horrible post earlier, I swear I wasn't drunk lol My phone sucks and my hands were freezing! Thanks so much everyone! Back home now, gonna get a hot shower and some food in me, I am wiped out! Couldn't be happier tho.
