This morning I ran 10 miles, my hamstrings/piriformis area seem to be agitated again, following very closely to using the hyper back extension thing Tuesday and Thursday so unfortunately no more of that. Hopefully, stretching and foam rolling will help it.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is my little angel's birthday, this awesome guy has blessed my life for the last 3 years and is becoming quite the little man I've only ever dreamed he will be. Love him so much!
Happy Birthday tomorrow, Dorian! I remember when you were in tiny thing in your mummy's tummy. You're a big guy, now!
Sunny here as well. I have 18 to run and I will start soon. Then I have to go to the local arena to see a little girl who was with my group last year. She's now in kindergarten and is taking figure skating classes. They are doing their yearly show today. Watching little 5 year olds fall on the ice like bowling pins should be interesting. (Seriously though, "MY" little girl is the best, of course...).
I hope D. did well. I tried looking up the results, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone has heard from her? She should be finished by now.

Are we there, yet?
D hasn't posted anything on FB yet, so no news from here.

I got the result but I'm not telling.

18 miles seems like a lot.
That's what I need to run to make my 65 mile week. I'm on a mission!

'Morning! So I start my "taper" with a 90 minute swim clinic followed by a 60 minute run. So much for a nice restful day.
Looks like Docket had herself a good race today. 'Bout time.

From the Internet.
I found it too!
Happy birthday tomorrow to Dorian!
It's too nice to stay inside today, I'll go out for a few flat miles in a little bit to test out the IT band. Feels totally fine again today but that's how it was back in January too... at least I know now that dry needling clears up the inflammation almost immediately for me.
It's a beautiful morning for running out; sky full of sun, 37 degrees with little wind and here I sit with this stupid busted up leg. Today's run was to be 11 miles but I think I will go for an 11 mile drive instead.
Aren't we supposed to be tapering?
