This guy broke down the famous Rocky montage of him running through Philly.  It turns out that he ran over 30 miles.

I saw that earlier.  Wouldn't it be nice if they created the Rocky 50K?

I think it would be very popular.

This was also posted on the main boards, so I will make the same comment I did there: especially impressive to run that in Chuck Taylors.

This is an awesome article.  Rocky seems to be working at a tempo pace, too.  Certainly not LR pace.

I hate Philadelphia, although running through Fairmount is pretty cool.

Wait, what are we talking about?

Not sure.  Loose clothing.  Maybe bleeding nipples?

Having more than half of the city's preteen/adolescent population as pacers is a bit extreme, methinks. Pied Piper of Philly?

I love going to Philly. My favorite part to run there is Penn's Landing. I have a Rocky fridge magnet.

Me too...getting to/around there is a logistical nightmare, which is why I generally tend not to do any races anywhere near Center City.
