I've had this lump on my shin for about 6 months. It is sore to the touch but rarely ever hurts during runs. Sometimes its bigger and more sore than other times. I'm sure it's not a stress fracture as I have more than enough experience with that. I had some weird lumps on the inside of my knees in high school that turned out to be harmless. So does anybody know what it is, or if I should be worried?

Can you get bone spurs on your shin?
Slow by nature, not by choice.

it might be osgood slauger (spelling?). I've been having it the past few weeks and it sucks balls.

Interesting suggestions. Seems like my problem in high school might have been something like the Osgood thing . My current lump could be something like a bone spur. I wouldn't have though of either. Anyway I was more curious than worried.
