            I've been a slacker about riding this year, just not making the time...

             

            My Trek has been sitting in the basement. For whatever reason I just didn't feel bike fit enough (worthy) to pull it out. Tuesday I finally did. What a treat. I forgot how nice it was. I was riding along thinking "I own this???" Hopefully I can get out again before it snows.

             

              I've been a slacker about riding this year, just not making the time...

              That looks like a great place to ride. It has been a rough summer for biking. I am okay riding in the rain,  but the torrential downpours are a bit much.

                This summer has been tough here too.  But it's the 100 degree heat that's keeping me off the road.

                In another month, I'll be back at it, but my ride will not have the scenery that xhristopher had.

                  Loaded the bikes up for a trip to Duluth MN to ride a scenic train to Two Harbors MN and cycle back to Duluth down the Grandmas Marathon route with my wife and oldest daughter

                  The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

                   

                  2013 Goals:

                  5k = sub 21:00

                  HM = sub 100 minutes

                  Run = 3650 / 2 miles

                  Bike = 3500 miles

                  Swim = 150 miles

                  Race 1st HIM

                    We don't have a problem...we can quit anytime...

                     

                    The sad thing is that there are several bikes that you can't even see in this photo...DH's fat bike, mountain bike, my mountain bike, etc.

                      Zoomy, Can you post a photo of your complete bike rack. I have a simliar idea for my bikes.
