Peach, You're doing the right thing by listening to your doctors. There is more to life than running marathons, and you will have your chance to run another. Hang in there, your in my prayeres.

This is comign from someone who had to quit track because her Mother died tragically and had to work instead. This is coming from someone who about a year ago was in the E.R. her chest bare to the world with two caridologist ready for me to go into cardiac arrest. My only concern was my two kids and how they would be if they had no Mom. I tell you this, because we all have our crosses to bare, and we should not compare the weight of them..who are we to judge. Running, let alone running a marathon is not very important in the big scheme of things. If you don't know that, well you will be in my prayers for that reason too. But dwelling on loss isn't going to help you. Peach I ask that you find your strength, don't dwell on the negative. Turn to your family, friends, your God, dig deep, and don't give up, whatever you don't give up.

yes and I hope mine involves me still being able to run...dont care if I ever run marathon again but not running at all isnt an option...
