I was very fortunate to have a couple friends share some of their NG R&D beers on Friday.

Two Women Lager
All very tasty. Apparently the Kriek sold out within hours and they were limiting people to 3 bottles ea. I really regret not making the trip with them.
FYI: I'm told that when you go to NG for the tour you want to go on a Friday and make a reservation for the hard hat tour. It's the only tour that goes through both breweries.
Holy WTF Batman, I have not seen mention of these AT ALL. Got any you can send me?!??!??
More importantly, how does one get R&D beers?
I'm not real sure what the deal is with the R&D beers. I thought I read somewhere that Dan only brews them at the original brewery and they are usually a 1 time deal. The BB Kriek and Gueuze were released the weekend of Great Taste of the Midwest. My friends happened to get tickets and were there that weekend. I was fortunate they shared a bottle of each with a group of about 12 people. So I only got a sample of each. NG mentioned the release on their FB page a few days before and they were only available at the Hilltop brewery.
I am on their FB page, but must have missed this. Sheesh. Not that I could have done anything about it, but alas.
You mid westerners are killing me talking about all of this beer that I have no chance of getting.
