Cheers, Salud, etc...... I have been around RA for well over a year and feel stupid for not discovering the fun of groups and forums sooner. Beer reviews to follow Kenny

I am brand new to RA........and thanks to Kristen, she pointed me to this group in short order. Looks like a great bunch of folks.

Keep the running and fitness up and keep the weight from coming back.

Run more miles than last year.

Another CR refugee that joind earlier this year and found this group thanks to Zoom too. A foru with two of my favorite subject - running and drinking - prefereably both done at the same time. Any hashers here?

I've wanted to try that, but the nearest club is an hour away and I have been unable to contact anyone via their website. I always get a weird returned message. I think their site is whack.

Don't rightly know. I just mved up here from Southern Indiana and was looking too. Thought perhaps someone here might be or know. I hashed while living in Hawaii and it was a blast. If I track it down I will drop a note. Drinking, running, singing very off key and vulgar songs, chasing a hare - now that's what exercise is all about.

Pardon my blissful ignorance, what's a hasher? given the context of where the thread was going, sounds like I'd like it.

No bliss allowed. Big grin Here is the skinny on hashers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_House_Harriers. Basically a drinking club with a running and singing problem. Lots of local groups which love first timers. Depending on the group, this is as good as it gets for non competitive running/drinking fun. IMHO

Evansville. Nice terrain for running and cycling. Very humid in the summer along the Ohio River. Now residing in the flats of central Indiana.
