Good Bad & The Monkey
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

You guys still look like you are ok with living.....you want to see suffering?
This is Real Suffering

Looking better than I felt. Except for the ones where my legs are buckling.
Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth
Bugs
We are all glistening.
I confess to charging when I see a photo guy.

This is suffering.
Me looking for the stupid finish line. Thinking "another gd dmn turn?"
I've run those turns many times over the years.
They never get better.
I don't seem to be able to get the link to work right..... Looking better than I felt. Except for the ones where my legs are buckling.
I don't seem to be able to get the link to work right.....
Did you get an email telling you that you can look at your pictures at marathonfoto.com?? If so, then use that link instead....
I think I'm saying.....SH*&^^%^**&T!! As you can see, I'm walking, and there is green behind me. Not a good sign at Grandmas.
I gave up on this early, but at least finished. I plan to be back next year as this is a good time to see the in-laws. I just won'tt ever set a goal time for it. Met a runner (actually walker) on the course who was doing his 20th Grandmas. He said he couldn't say it was the worst conditions, but maybe top 3.
Looking at a fall marathon. Minneapolis is sold out, unless I want to raise $1000 for charity. I thought about it, but was unsure whether I would have injuries, and would hate to recruit sponsors only to not run. I plan to enter the lottery for the 10 miler, and then maybe do a marathon close to home like Toronto. They have 2 within a few weeks of each other, so thinking of the latter one on Oct 18th.
Good luck to all on the next race. It not the time-it's the experience. At least that is a good piece of rationalization. Classic line form the Big Chill
Michael: I don't know anyone who could get through the day without two or three juicy rationalizations. They're more important than sex.
Sam Weber: Ah, come on. Nothing's more important than sex.
Michael: Oh yeah? Ever gone a week without a rationalization?
