Yeah. Bit the frickin bullet. Now I gotta find a costume.
Okay, so my first response was: sweet. This is going to be quite the RA party. Then I decided to check out your log. I know you've had some injuries. And I see your training is coming along great. Wow. Good for you. Then I decide to check you PRs. I remembered that you were fast ... just not the specifics. CHEESUS ON A POGO STICK YOU'RE FAST. Or at least you were pretty damn recently. You have way too many 3Tight lippedx paces in your PR's. I can't do that from here to the fridge.

Mishka - here's some hints from push up specialists

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away...(unkown)

            Very informative, yes.

Yep, his 400 is pretty much my 800. I don't think I could've rolled down the hill that fast. MTA: The unintentional smiley on the 3Tight lippedx PRs is soooo appropriate. That's what I'd do if I ran that fast.

Yeah, things seem to be going right. Got some nagging tendinitis in both knees that just needs to get gone. Other than that, I'm busy being inspired by you fools around here and really buying into the miles = fast thing. This running now...it's almost a different sport than what I grew up on. I was a just-above-average cross country runner with wheels and could get away with 40-50 miles per week. It worked as long as I never had to race more than 2 miles. Now that I'll never race anything under 2 miles, I've had to rethink and relearn just about everything. I fell like I'm in the 2nd grade of running school. This place is great for that. Public logs, great forum discussions (where I mostly lurk) and tons of idiots trying different things. It's like a big continuous science project that pops out good performances, bad performances, huge PRs, injuries and lots of pictures of boobs. Pretty much everything, you know? Thanks for the kudos on the PRs, but all those in the 3's are ancient history. I can't see touching anything like that (and staying healthy) for much more than 1/2 a lap. I tried to build back toward it last year. Failed miserably. Lesson learned. I'm a distance guy now.
