Low HR Training

1

my speediest LHR run so far (Read 371 times)

The weather today was quite nice, the temperature and humidity was just right, you can tell that when you have minimum sweat and not feeling cold either. Anyway it was a good run on a 1 mile trail loop. Pace AHR MHR Mile 1 11:47 MAF-10 MAF+0 Mile 2 12:14 MAF-2 MAF+4 Mile 3 12:36 MAF-2 MAF+7 last 0.7 12:42 MAF-2 MAF+7 Overall 3.7 miles, pace 12:18, AHR MAF-4, MHR MAF+7 I guess the weather play a big role here, but I am very excited about finally getting into the 12:00+ pace zone, FINALLY! Big grin BTW this is the sixth week of my MAF style training.

    Happy

6 weeks of LHR training and it is already working for you Cool - I am a bit jealous but I will give myself another 3 weeks......... Congratulations - you are doing very well and inspiring us to stay the course. Keep working on this and keep us posted! You made me smile with your expression "FINALLY" Wink Oh, to be young! 6 weeks seems like a long time, doesn't it?! Thanks for sharing everything with us.

        Consistently Slow

I will be glad to just get back to under 14:00 miles(15:30)

Run until the trail runs out.

runnerclay, I looked at your log and you are a much faster runner than me. Are you planning any race recently? And you have been running less recently, hope all is well.
