What are some of your favorite martial arts movies?
Two of my recent ones are The Forbidden Kingdom and Ong Bak.

Enter the Dragon, Game of Death - for obvious reasons
I've seen the first Ong Bak movie, and Enter the Dragon. Earlier this week, I saw Ip Man 2, and really enjoyed it even though it seemed pretty predictable. I'm hoping I can ge a hold of the first Ip Man soon. Thanks for the list.
First Ip Man was excellent. The Last Samurai was a good movie despite Tom Cruise.
I saw Ran last week. I was sort of dreading 2 hours 40 minutes of subtitles, but I do enjoy a good Shakespeare adaptation. This take on King Lear was fantastic.
Still, I think my favorite MA movie is Forbidden Kingdom.
Since you enjoyed Kurosawa's "RAN" you may also like his "Kagemusha" and "Throne of Blood".
