Taper XT question (Read 551 times)

    Hey all - wondered what most folks are doing (have done) regarding XT during their taper phase. Some cut back, many cut it out all together (depending on the XT intensity), some plow right on through with a reduced time but maintain intensity.

     

    My gut feeling is to cut it out all together. What would you recommend for a 2nd time marathoner?

        i would say cut it out together but it kind of depends on what it is... for me, I lift weights twice a week and do abs every day.  I don't cut that out during taper, except maybe the last 4 days or so, just to make sure I'm not sore before the marathon.
