No run on taper week (Read 532 times)

Me again, I'm in the last weeks of my marathon preparation (following more or less Hal Higdon Intermediate 2 program). Everything is on schedule, but due to a business trip to South America, between race day-13 & race day-6 (that is, the first taper week), I'm afraid I'll be able to run either nothing or quite close to nothing (shit happens). My question is, should I approach the last 6 days going to the race on a particular way (running more / less) than the normal training schedule? Thanks in advance Rafa

Targets 1) No injuries 2) Keep having fun 3) Some kind of PR

      I'd stick to the schedule.
