How did you know.... (Read 372 times)

Just had another brainstorm on run, how many people run their easy runs by time not milegae? I'm thinking of going that route on the days inbetween my hard workouts. Any thoughts on time vs. mileage? CC
I don't worry about it. I've done runs where I just head out, I've done runs where I just want x amount of time on my feet, I've done runs where I want to cover a certain distance, and I've done combinations of those. For a while, I even tracked my runs in my log as Oregon miles, where every run was assumed to be 7 minute miles no matter how fast I was going. (More realistically I was averaging 5:30-6:00 miles most of the time at that point in my running career.)
