Seriously...that's a load of junk food, or even just a lot of food. I've eaten at Fat Boys Whoper burger, and even though I'm a tubby fella, I could not pack in much on top of one.
There's a video on youtube from last year, and I think that's Sheri Piers at about the 6:45 mark. (?)
Starting at Pizza Hut, 238 Bath Rd., Cooks Corner, Brunswick, Maine (parking at adjacent Wal-Mart parking lot)
www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=375387
One slice of a medium pepperoni pan pizza (250 calories)
5-piece chicken nuggets (250 calories)
Small french fries (250 calories)
One beef soft taco (200 calories)
Value-sized onion rings (150 calories)
The Whoper Burger! (800 calories)
"Like It"-sized chocolate or vanilla ice cream in a dish (400 calories)
If anyone is caught throwing up during the race, they'll have to wash down their ice cream with a Twinkie in order to finish!
All finishers will receive a limited-edition "2010 Brunswick Fast Food Challenge" t-shirt. And yes, you can use it to wipe the vomit from your face if you need to.
The cost for the race (to cover food and t-shirts) is $20, payable as cash-only on the day of the race. Cash is needed so volunteers can ride ahead to the stops and purchase food so that it's ready ahead of the arriving runners.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
I really should do this because I think I was made for this event. Or it was made for me. Or something.

Some friends of mine put this on, and yes, Sheri Piers and Kristen Barry ran it last year. I think Kristen won for the women if memory serves?
Run to Win25 Marathons, 17 Ultras, 16 States (Full List)
No Talent Drips
Vegetarian (not vegan) option?
Dei Gratia
Ok, had one for lunch today. There's NO way I coulkd jog back anywhere afterwards. I'd take the penalty and eat the twinkie.
Covered in an article in last Sunday's Maine Telegram.
One of these years I'll do this...this year, I'll be running the bradbury breaker with a loop of the scuffle as warmup and loop of the bruiser as cool down, so I expect I'll just be finishing my 27-28 miler by the time this starts.
