For those who don't know, I'm the state representative for the Road Runners Club of America. It took me 6 years, but I finally filled a complete slate of races for every distance.

I even managed to do it without using my own race, the Mid-Winter Classic (which is the 10 mile eastern regional championship this year.)

ironically enough MWC is the only one you mentioned that I'll likely get to do.

5 or 6 years ago when I agreed to become a race director for the MWC, my one condition was that I still get to run the race.

Yeah, haven't actually run in it since.

At least putting on a good event is rewarding too...
