              Hi Holly.

               

              Like C-R, no plan for me either, just run; lots. This being the "All-Star Mileage Challenge week" over in the mileage game group, I'll be running as much as I can. I'll post my totals at the end of the week.

               

              OK, here's the weekly mileage for me.

               

              M - 12.8

              T - 14

              W - 12

              Th - 11.7

              F - 15.1

              Sa - 16

              Su - 11.2

              Total - 92.8 miles

               

              I got sucked into that mileage game pretty bad. But, I enjoyed the challenge & feel amazingly good after breaking my previous weekly best mileage by over 20 miles!

                Hot, painful 5K – how did you do?

                 

                18:52 chip time. Not a PR. Lots of faster old guys. But at least it was hot and painful!

                  Tue 10.1mi (1:33) east river, +1.2mi earlier

                  Wed 11.9mi (1:49) central park

                  Thu 0

                  Fri 8.1mi (1:17) 6am

                  Sat 20.6mi (4:20) trails

                  Sun 11.3mi (1:45) track

                   

                  Total: 74 miles

                   

                  Thursday-Friday rest was almost planned, I wanted to save

                  some energy for the 20 miler on Saturday. Still, the long run

                  started with a face plant at mile 5, a clear indication that

                  I'm tired.
