April 2014Tetsujin - 7.5 miles = ∞ more than last April). . . YTD - 230.09 miles.Thinking that over-tapering last April <<<(0-miles)>>> might have had something to do with missing the 32 hour cutoff in the May 2013 edition of the Pigtails 100, I panicked this month for a sprightly 12K. Hope it helps.ps - those football players can run! . .4/13/2014 - Seahawks Superbowl 12th Man 12K (1:30)

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Trails are hard!
Zero, zip, nada, the big doughnut miles for April. Although technically I have 3/4 of a mile sitting on my Garmin, undownloaded, that leads up to the point where my hammy re-re-strained. I want to make sure I get the least miles award away from Tet.
any suggestions for strengthening and avoiding recurrences would be greatly appreciated as I plot a training plan for November.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.

Thanks, yup I've been seeing you out on the roads a lot! See you at the CRR this weekend. I feel like I have a good base but no foot speed.
I think that's the most April miles since 2004, before I moved here to this frozen corner of the planet.
And to update a little more, 450 running miles for the year, 1,080 combined running and skiing.
