Carolyn
Wow - June is almost here! Time to post your miles for May, and any PRs, AG awards, RA meet ups, and other fun stuff!
I thought I'd post some rock art this month:
This is one I found on the Three Sisters Trail near Evergreen:
And these are two that I made:
A snowman rock monster in White Ranch Park
And this guy in Centennial Cone Park:
Happy trails!
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
Rose Colored Glasses

SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

I had better step it up if I want to make 2000 for the year.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Funky kicks 2019

No races, but a double MikeE meetup in two different states--NH and CT. Not to mention Marj, Henrun, and Jay to add to the fun.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.

251 miles in May.
1AG in a marathon and a 5K.
And a cheesy grand time in the Bay. Not that Bay, the one on Lake Michigan. With that team where they let you run on the field.

One relay race and one 5k with an age graded PR...

77.7 miles. Not the over 100 I had hoped for, but next month I should get there.
Of note:
My first 2nd place AG award in a 5K. Not a PR, not even close, but I'll take second!
"During a marathon, I run about two-thirds of the time. That's plenty." - Margaret Davis, 85 Ed Whitlock regarding his 2:54:48 marathon at age 73, "That was a good day. It was never a struggle."
