Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I don't really plan out my weeks anymore since I have to be a little flexible and then it makes me crazy if I don't get the exact planned mileage in on a particular day. 39.3 miles for this past week, which, as we say in the law, is "substantial compliance." I didn't have the last .7 in me, and I've finally gained enough perspective to NOT go outside and do it tonight!
Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth
Thank you, Holly! Trying to heal up, as recommended. I'm still on antibiotics, and still very very far from 100%, but I was able to jog a bit this week. Need another free pass!
