One of my friends from LA was in the shape of her life and all set to run this, but her oldest kid (17) was hit by a car while he was biking and got hurt pretty badly on the day before. He told her to run, but she couldn't bear to be away from him. He's okay and she is looking for another one. I hear it's a spectacular view all along the Big Sur course and well run race. I'll probably add more soon, but that's it for now
