Oh man...evryday beat me to this and it isn't even Thursday!
Finally made some decisions on my schedule. Fitting in a 5K on Sat., have to drive 5 hrs r/t to see my Mom on Wed. Husband is travelling W/T...just needed to make a realistic plan!
OH SHOOT, Carol, I didn't skip the beach. I simply forgot to type it in!
Totals: walked 2.4 mi, ran 29.1 mi, 20 min slide boarding, 20 min stretch, 15 min strength drills, 3 hrs rug cleaning
GOALS 2012: UNDECIDED
GOALS 2011: LIVE!!!
Hey, can I play? I'm doing more cross training than running lately, so this seems like a good spot. Here's the plan:
Mon - Bike 1 hr------------------------------------------->mountian bike 12.36 mi in 1:02
Tues - Elliptical, Upper/Core Weights, Swim --->3 mi TM run, 30 min upper/core weights, forgot bag w/ swimsuit
Wed - Run 3 mi easy, Walk 2 mi -------------------->30 minute swim, no walk, friend bailed and the walk was for her
Thurs - Bike 1 hr ----------------------------------------->mountain bike 11.47 mi in 58 min
Fri - Elliptical, Upper/Core Weights, Swim-------->3 miles running, 3 miles walking with a friend & Katy the dog
Sat - Run 4 mi easy-------------------------------------->hubby sick, 5 hrs of housework, plan to hit the gym tomorrow
Sun - Rest-------------------------------------------------->30 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes upper/core, 30 minute swim
Just realized I'm supposed to total this thing: Bike 23.83 miles, Run 6 miles, Walk 3 miles, Elliptical 30 min, Lift 50 min, Swim 60 min
Thanks for the welcomes! Nono...never glad you didn't skip the beach DG, sounds like a nice place you run. Too much fauna? Ahh...I see. Guess those militant geese are trying to protect that gorgeous place, not to mention their babies. Eliz, glad you're not skipping the beach either! Kayaking sounds fun!
Erika, nice half + for you! That's what happens when you're fast....have to actually know the route.
Dang, it's already time to make a new plan!

Ex runner
am I early?
Hi Carol, hi Arla fwiw, one of Erika's cutback weeks equals about 7 of my regular. But I love her anyway.
Thanks Leslie.
week 14 eek eek eek.
Planned
14.14 miles 10:02 pace interspersed with 3 weeks of heavy breathing
10 min. or so bridges & things in the evening
Nono, cool! I'm not late.
Leslie, we would never think of thinking what you thought we were thinking.
Erika,
Carol, it is a nice place. glad you said that, I take it for granted sometimes though I try to remind myself to appreciate it. fauna.... geese gangs. big, militant geese gangs. (;-) ) they're worse when they have babies, but just this week, I finally relaxed when I have to walk through a bunch of them, & then one hissed at me. I think it's really weird when you think about it... like in some strange novel. where there are birds as big as your kids, & they outnumber the people by far. Kafkaesque. (or.. trippy) Anyway, here's a picture.
Leslie, when's your 3:30 am pre-work 20 miler?
Carol... I think you're right. I should get them their own river.
totals ( leslie, this is early for me. am all dizzy now) 34 miles running, 2 hrs 25 min. assorted strengthening. untracked walking & stretching.
evryday & Leslie... glad you liked my picture.
Hi Gordon!! welcome back.
I must've been brain dead when I started this thread (the Peanut Gallery can keep all comments to themselves, thank you very much). First time I've put my weekly plan in the tallies post.
Carol and Arla - You found us!
Mon - Rest -------------------------------------------------> And I did a fine job of it, too.
Tues -5 mile fartlek run --------------------------------> 5 mile fartlek/interval run, 6 x 3. 1 mile w/up, 4 miles in 36:?? **
Wed - 3+ miles, core/strength -----------------------> 3 miles; 1.25 hours core/strength
Thurs - 6 mile stride run -------------------------------> 6 miles w/strides, 9:42 ap (1 mile w/up, gasping last 1/2 mile)
Fri - 30+ min stat. biking, core/strength -----------> Slackville
Sat - 16 trail miles ---------------------------------------> 15.25 tuff trail miles
Sun - 10 miles -------------------------------------------->6 road miles in 58:11
Totals: 20 road miles, 15.25 trail miles, 1.25 hrs core/strength
**6 x 3 = 3 min running at 70-80% of max HR, 3 min running at conversational pace x 6. The Garmin counts the 3 run/3 rest as one interval, so it said I had a 9:09 ap for the 4 miles. I'll take it.
. Leslie, we would never think of thinking what you thought we were thinking.
Yeah, right.
(Okay - I can't get your box thing to go away.)
Yeah, right. (Okay - I can't get your box thing to go away.)
and I didn't have one single thought of any kind about that, no indeedy.
Can I play too...
Hey Lynden! Welcome back!
dg - The too-freaking-early-to-even-believe-at-this-point-I'm-going-to-do-it 18-mile run (NOT 20) is Wednesday. Should make for a very, very long day. And beautiful picture, BTW.
Hey Leslie... tallies?
