Sports Illustrated (8/2-8/9/10) has a mention (and picture) in 'Faces in the Crowd' of Mary Harada who set an age group world record (75 and up) in the mile (7:55:74) at the Hayward Classic in Oregon. (not mentioned if it was male or female). Mary is a Ma. resident and a member of our New England 65+ Running Club (of which I'm on the board of directors). She's a member of our club's Hall of Fame. We're quite proud of her.
