Marathon Maniac #957
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Here’s what I have for last week’s tally.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
My plan? Taking the week off. I will assess my future fitness regimen of which the primary focus will be running, just not as much to leave room for other activities.
Thanks Holly!!!

Sun 26.2 mi (3:23) NYC marathon
Total: 46.6 miles
My 17th NYC marathon (46 total marathons). Enjoyed the run,
as always, but man I'm slowing down. In 2014 I ran New York
in 3:03, then it was 3:11 in 2015, 3:15 last year, and now 3:23.
I'm 51, so this is still 7 minutes under BQ2019.
Thanks!
