Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

          I agree. And, he ran a 16:46 5K!

My ankle still hurts after spraining it 2 weekends ago. I haven't run in 11 days, and I might just go crazy. Work is super busy, so that actually helps. Hoping to run again by next week, although 40 mile weeks might still be a ways off.

I'm not hitting my weekly and monthly goals, and the reason is simple: too many days off! The trend continues this week, with two big round zeros and and easy day. On the plus side I watched Comrades marathon until 2am last night and it was great fun. At 2am they were only 2 hours into the race, with maybe another 3hrs to go, so I had to bail out.
