Wow, you've run a lot of barefoot marathons! Don't your feet get cold this time of year??? Congrats on another fine race.

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

Rick - nice running in returning to the site of your first marathon in 1990 and then going back in 1999, 2000, and 2002 (while you were still running in shoes) until your current min-streak of three barefoot KC’s since 2006. I’ll be looking forward to many more annual KC reports. Incidentally, you were not only running on the biggest marathon weekend of the year on 10/18-19* but it also may have had best barefoot turnout around the country with one of the runningbarefoot‘ers at Mt. Deseret in Maine and two barefoot brothers placing first and second at Duke City in Albuquerque, New Mexico - 2:40:23 and 2:47:10) http://www.individual.com/story.php?story=90361182 Busiest Marathon Weekend of The Year This weekend was the busiest marathon weekend of the year - not by the number of runners, but by the number of races. Twenty-four marathons took place in North America *http://www.marathonguide.com/index.cfm?
