Marathon Maniac #957
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Another busy week of flights, etc ... unless some running pixie sprinkles magic dust on me Sunday am, I doubt seriously that I can make 40+ this week. I have 18.1 now ... 5 mile race Sat [so I will get 7-8 with warm-up]. I guess I will just do 5-8 sunday for +/- 34 week total [plan on surfing on sunday for the first time this year.] 18 week training cycle for Oct marathon starts in early June ... no excuses then. Happy Memorial Day to everyone ... enjoy the parades and nice weather!
MTA -- 30.8 total. [Set a PR @ Spring Lake 5 miler with a 32:45 ... roughly a 5 minute year over year improvement.]
