Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Going to need a pass this week - post marathon walking for me.
Monday -- 1 mile and walking in airport
Tuesday -- 30 minutes walking
Wednesday -- 30 minutes walking
Thursday -- 30 minutes walking
Friday -- 30 minutes walking
Saturday -- 30 minutes walking
Sunday -- 30 minutes walking
And you can quote me as saying I was mis-quoted. Groucho Marx

Saturday race was a bit over 6 hours because they let us finish the 2 mile loop. 2nd place male, 3rd overall. It was my 7th ultra and the first one where I ran the entire time, no walking.
How'd Rocket City go? I got my first BQ there in 2005...
It was a very good event. A little chilly, but they are experts at putting on a marathon. I would absolutely run it again.
