thank you getting more-and-moire gorgeous ilene. it looks like i'll be jock'njilling the Labor Day half marathon without fanci for the first time in several years but she's going to be using the time with family to check out the White River course for next year too so it's for a good cause. However, I'm not sure it's such a good idea for her (and her DH) to see how big the two mountain ascents are and to be having nightmares, . . . I mean dreaming, . . about it for the next year so I'll tell her that it's on the same gentle Wonderland Trail around the base of Mt. Rainier that I thought when I saw a tv program about a guy running around it before discovering on my own after a pleasant first five miles down the riverside in my first try in 2006 that it's two massive 4,000 foot mountains instead. Dear Ilene, A belated Happy Anniversary to you and Fastforward! I would like to add something to the list: 1-25 dromedary - Carlsbad Marathon, Carlsbad, CA SLOJim convinced me to go for it. I have been doing really well without orthotics and running in my new Brooks Defyance shoes. (SLOJim, that's interesting news about OC Marathon. Thanks!) Dear Tetsujin, I will seriously consider the RNR Seattle Marathon. I have to see what my work schedule will be in the spring.
