Ragnar Relay thread (from over on KickRunners) (Read 386 times)

For those of you who don't get over to KickRunners much, here is a link to a GREAT thread on KR about the recent Ragnar relay in Arizona ... chock full of little hints, pictures, partial race reports, and even videos. Enjoy! Bill http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23302

Wow, what a cool relay thread. It's written like a relay, too, with everyone taking turns telling part of the story.

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

Kicking butt and having fun doing it. Doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for the reports, photos and video, guys and gals, and thanks Bill for the heads up.
Thanks for the link Breger. What an awesome read! Thanks to all who posted and made this a true relay of experiences for those of us cheering and envying you from the sidelines. It's truly generous of all of you to share the experience---not easy to do. Congratulations on a fabulous result. More than that, the strength of your friendships, support and the shared experience came through loud and clear. Fabulous race report. CNYrunner

Thanks for pointing us toward this RR - it was a great read, a great way to create a relay race report, and an incredible event! Jay

Bill, thanks for the pointer. I was going to do that but hadn't gotten it done. It was a fun event, but what made it so special was all the great friends involved. What a party!

Well worth the read. What an adventure! You guys and gals ROCK!

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
