105.4 miles for January
PR in the half marathon! Thought those days were long gone!
Thank you Carolyn for the beautiful picture, quote and reminder of why we run and why we gather with friends - both online and in real life!! I love my running club for those reasons as well -- we are there to encourage runners of all speeds, sizes and abilities and really enjoy spending time with each other both running and non-running!!
My total this month is 97.3 ..... happy because it's the most running in a long time and has felt great .... annoyed because I didn't pay attention to how close I was to 100!!
Accomplishments - made it to 2 of the first 4 races in our local Fudgcicle Series .... placed 3rd and 2nd in my age group (small group) respectively .... makes me smile!!
Happy trails my friend - I am thinking of you often even tho I'm not posting much these days!!

161.3 miles for me this January. Getting back into running after my hamstring injury over the summer and then a bad ankle sprain in December has been tough, but I made a vow that I was going to be diligent this year with recording my mileage in a running log. Even if my mileage was low, I vowed to record it! I'm not recording paces, just because that's one more piece of data that I don't feel like juggling. But the mileage I'm recording! And somewhat coincidentally, my running began to fall back in line!

17 miles for the month. Missed my goal by 193 miles.
I tore my ACL and medial meniscus skiing on Jan 5. I have surgery tomorrow. I am hoping to be running again by May.

Best wishes on your surgery Baboon. Hope you have a speedy and complete recovery.
