How about an award for Tet for the biggest increase in training mileage for the decade?
Congrats Dave on your biggest month, yet!
145 miles. One marathon (second fastest of 22 marathons).

my nominees for sweeties of the month: mariposai/dovenator/francesca
Thanks dave. I haven’t done that much training even in a whole year since I quit super-ulras and IM's in 2008. However, I think I’ll do it again for the reunion mariposai’s planning for next year’s Light-at-the-end-of-the-Tunnel Marathon. You guys are such a bad influence. No wonder I love running so much .
Robert - albeit at a much, much different level, I DNF'd my last time too and there were more than 50 this year too. Hope you are okay though, . . and at least made to the photo stop on Corral Pass with Mr. Rainier in the background. With needing to climb two moutains along the way, you picked a heck-of-a-run for your first one for the heck-of-it in a long time. How does White River rank in all the other 333?
ps - PR goddess ilene gets so many PR's year-after-year, including marathon and half mary already this year, that she probably forgot but I think she seems to have gotten two more PR's in July: 5K and 15K, , I think both for the second time this year: What does that girl eat to keep running faster-and-faster

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks for the thread, Carolyn.
Bringing down the average here again at 59.8 running and 245.7 cycling.
Could have something to do with the fact that we've already had about twice as many 90+ days so far as we normally have for the entire summer!

Bump for last call!
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
Did I hear last call. Make mine a double.
221.5 in Juli for me.

Like a drunk asleep at the bar, I heard "last call!"
No races for me due to the extreme heat but I've acclimated well in a month of solid training. 156 miles, the highest this year because of the earlier setbacks. Looking forward to some races in the near future.

I'm here, I'm here! Just got home late last night (early this morning, actually), and wasn't able to upload my runs from last week until today. So between this thread and the Monkey registration, I'm playing a very belated catch-up!
July = 163.3 miles
YTD = 877.2 miles
Oh, and two races, both 5k's, in which the second one I PR'd by 1:04!
Thanks!
