Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Just a dude.

Thank you Holly for keeping this thread going. My game plan for this weekend. First I have friends at both marathons to run with me. If it is too hot for to finish the first one in Maryville, Mo, I will be off to the Swan Lake Marathon in SD. IfI finish at Maryville, I will still go to Swan Lake to see how far I can go. I hope to complete them both, but it is not necessary for me to do it.

Thanks Holly,
Been a very busy week for me. Monday was the drive back home Newport, OR. Had to get ready for a 10 day trip to Virginia. Tuesday, I was on the 6am flight to the east coast. The rest of the week, I've been working 10 hour days plus trying to get in some runs. Most have been the short range of 5-8 miles and my long run was 14 miles this morning. Legs are trying to recover from Newport. So 48.5 miles for me this week.
