I'm using a new theory called "why train when you can race" , heres a list of the events I'm doing in the next couple of months.
11 April Big Cow Duathlon Milton Keynes10K run, 40K time trial, 5K run
24th April 100 mile hilly cycle Sportif.
9 May Hinckley Half Marathon
16 May Town and Gown 10k Oxford
23 May rescheduled 10k league race
6 June 100 mile very hilly Sportif in the Peak District
Also I have a HM time of 1:31:45 at the Hague ( Netherlands ) last Sunday. This was from my stop watch as I got in at 1:31:58 from the start time but my timing chip didn't work.
Ilene what counts your age at 1 January 2010, your age at the time of the race or your age at 31 December 2010?
Plus to add joy to my life I've just had an EMail confirming my inclusion in the GB Duathlon team for the World Championships.
Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.

In addition to no footwear, I had so much fun not wearing something else in last week's St. Pat's 5K Dash that I think I'll get in today's Mercer Island Half Mary after all and not wear either either.
ps - Is the LA second marathon in as many months an entry-charity
or a "goodness-of-your heart" run for a special charity?
pps - is LA for a good time as in your dozen or so PR's in the last year, to say nothing of recently becoming the only RA'er in addition to aamos not only to win ag in a race but also overall sex too or for a good time ala the Boston Charity, or both?
ppps - if it's not too late, do any of the RA donaters get a private PR?
pppps - did you wear any green in last week's Mug Run, or was it mugless?

Currrently competing in the British Championships as its the best three races in a series of four, the Worlds are in September.
So my half time falls in the 55 - 60 group, I'll be 60 soon so based on the rules I could have the current best time in two different classes until my chum Jim Howe comes along and spoils it as usual
I'm not sure of everything you're asking me, Tetsujin, but LA is a run for a special charity dear to me.
It definitely wasn't a PR, but I had a blast anyway, and I am so grateful to all the donaters that made it possible!!

you've run enough marathons, done well enough in them, had so much fun too that it's just a number away now.
