Masters Running

Where is everyone?    I'll get us started.   Lots of good racing and running yesterday.  Kudos to SurlyBill, in particular, who did a looonnngggg one.

3.4 miles for me this morning to wind up the week.  More rain is moving in, but I beat it and got to enjoy the pre-rain humidity.   Planning on a lazy day today before the work week starts up tomorrow.

Tet-  I think my son wears a one piece tri kit to race, but I know what you mean by the shorter tops.  That's mainly a guy thing.

We have two going, so I will post to both...

Surly Bill - Yowza, that's a lot of miles!  How are you feeling today?

I tried to sign up for a local 12-hour endurance run scheduled for October 5, but they are already full.  I am #79 on the wait list.  Any chance that 79 people will change their mind? Not likely.  The weekend before is the Germantown 50k - my first choice, but DH and I are supposed to go away with another couple that weekend.

      12.15 miles for me today.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

IGNORE THIS ONE.  I didn't see Bill's thread.
