Carolyn
For this month's picture I decided to use one from our local state park, Golden Gate Canyon State Park (from the Colorado State Park website - not my picture).
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
One day at a time
Thanks, Carolyn!
I had 92.3 miles this month, my best since December. A PB of 21 days straight. I'm feeling stronger!
Thanks Carolyn! Gorgeous photo!

Trails are hard!
Like Teresa, the most miles since December. 46.8 Mi. Unfortunately, only about 1/2 the distance
Thank you kindly for your compilation each month. I'd love to go running down that hill!
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.
183 miles in May.
No racin', no nothin' this month.
Be safe. Be kind.

Beginner all over again
Hi Everyone,
A little copy-n-paste from my training Log.
Believe it or not that pace is a big improvement for me
PR report here too.
My First 5K race.
Way too fast and overdid it for me. It wasn't the PaceAvg of 12:48 but the 3rd mile I clocked at 11:28 that did me in.
Took me a week to recover, I was so sore from that effort.
I started Beginner Running all over again after that week.
Now, I'm not sore at all, no sore shins/calves, no sore feet, nothing.
I'm approaching 3 mile run/walks and :45 minute sessions, which is when/where I started "feeling good" the end of April and did the Too Much Too Soon training and 5K and got sore/sore/sore.
Since then my goal has been to under-do it.
I track Running Streak to make sure I can count the streak on one hand. Kind of like Reverse Streaking I suppose.......
The good thing about being a Slow Beginner is, there is nowhere to go but Up and Improve.
I Can Go The Distance
Thanks Carolyn.
May 195.3
YTD 1019.6
