Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thanks, Holly. I have 30 miles so far (posting this on Saturday). I won't go 10 tomorrow but I will try to get out (abundant rain predicted). Coming up a little short of 40 is allowed during the final week of a taper, isn't it?
I got in 5 on Sunday for a weekly total of 35. That's just about right for a 2/3 reduction each taper week.
