If I was going to do it I would use character shoes (dance heels). They have a flexible forefoot and are not likely to break. Plus the cuban strap keeps them from falling off. Best option for not twisting an ankle.

When my imaginary friends and I put on a runner's version of "The Wizard of Oz", naturally, I played Dorthy. Nike's ruby red open toed high heels were the hit of the ~~shoe~~ show.Too bad they clashed with the mask and cape. Ah...There's no place like Boston...There's no place like Boston.....
