          Thanks!

          an amazing likeness

I don't sign up for races in advance much anymore, never can tell if running is in the cards for any particular day...but had to register for this one when it opened, so I'll be joining Coastwalker tomorrow at:

02/04 milktruck- Midwinter Classic 10-Miler, Cape Elizabeth ME

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

I have signed up for a race tomorrow February 10.  Shiver Elk River 5k on Elk River MN.

It will be a cold morning but the wind won't be too bad so i hope my leg will stay warm and not give me any trouble. I need to get a race in February.

Mr. Intrepid - thanks for all the Intrepid motivation

not only to get out and support our local

and other races but the links

                for Race Reporting. Much appreciated.

                .

Please change the Mardis Gras 5K on Saturday 2/24

to the Lunar New Year 5K on Sunday 2/25.

The $10 entry for septuagenarian runners in the latter'll not only save me $30

but I won't need to miss the Saturday spinning class

I seem to be coming to like so much.

                    Paul

                    Paul - good timing.
                    most definitely one-or-the-other, . .  or both.
Both short enough to keep even the youngest (and oldest)
from getting too bored while you’re running.

Mardis Gras 5K has a free kids dash, to say nothing of surprises and handouts at each mile, awards & random prizes, beads, feather boa station, costume contest, food and beverages, t-shirts, etc.

Shoreline for the Sunday Lunar 5K is about 8-10 more miles further north on Highway 99 but, afterwards, another hour drive to the Skagit Flats’ll introduce the kids (and everyone) to the sound of trumpeter swans and sight of thousands of overwintering snow geese down from erikaland.  From a distance it looks like the fields are covered with blankets of snow

Added another, Temple Civic Theatre Luckython 5k on 3/17.

                      Trails are hard!

Wimping out —please change Half at the Hamptons to 5k at the Hamptons. Same date.

Need a fast half for late fall.  Then I need to actually train for it.
