Hello and thanks for getting us started Alexander!

Thank you for the comments on my 50K.  Once official results were posted this past Friday, I also found out that in addition to 2nd in my AG, I was also 2nd female overall.  There was one gal who crossed the finish line a couple seconds ahead of me, but she was a 100k runner who dropped out around mile 42, so her results technically don't count I guess.  The 50-59 women had a strong showing that day as not only the largest AG but quite a few of the top women finishers too.

This last week was nice with nothing on my running agenda. just run when I felt like it with no mileage goals in mind.

          Tues: 3.3 miles

          Thurs: 5.9 miles

          Friday: 4.1 miles

          Sun: 6.3 trail miles

          total: 19.6 miles

This week I get back to longer and more consistent running. I'm running a 30K trail race on Saturday about an hour away.  so, the goal mileage for the week is back up to around low 30's I think.

It really should have been more of a recovery week, but I wanted to hit 200 miles for the month.

Next week, more of the same. I really need to find a race to train for & put a training plan together.

Very nice Tammy and congratulations. Your running/training has been great over the past few months & it shows.

Fred, a very solid week. Being over 40 miles is always great and it reminds me that this weekly thread used to be "40 over 40"

Tammy, good luck with the 30k race!

Great week, Paul! I am sure the fact that you are recovering so quickly is related to the negative splits that you ran in your half marathon. It takes a lot longer to recover after a positive split, somehow it does more damage
