Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.

Although, I'm not sure Cat Woman would pose with Tag

Between a Saturday night cookout (beer and brats) and last night's cake and wine, I'm topping the scale again with a scary number, but I'm making a fresh start today.
Again.
I did try that chickpea and leek soup recipe and have declared it a keeper. The kids didn't like it, of course (jeesh they barely like anything these days), but I'm having a cup with my lunch today. I did add to it by sauteing some garlic with the leeks in olive oil to start with.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
