17400 checking in here. Training haphazard ( thgoh DS sure has been skiing well) and RA flaring up, but we shall see.

The qualifying time I used for Boston was 3:50:58.

The person who had my number last year, 19607, was a 62 year old man who got a 4:03:58 (9:19), 13 minutes slower

      That's weird.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

        .

"Some are the strong, silent type. You can't put your finger on exactly what it is they bring to the table until you run without them and then you realize that their steadiness fills a hole that leaks energy in their absence." - Kristin Armstrong

          Hey there Bill:

I noticed this while skimmiing through and thought I would mention my 2010 Boston number is actually - 8578.

I misread the on line info.

Getting anxious... good luck and safe travels to all

Good luck to all of you. I've really been impressed (and a little envious) at the caliber of dedication, and the miles, you all have been putting in.

I'll be watching on Monday....again, good luck!
