Rindaroo

thanks for the hugs & prayers, I am feeling better now after talking to a RN friend of mine last night.  Yes, its cirrhosis of the liver, but since he's a non-drinker he could live for awhile with it.  So, apparently its one more thing they have to worry about, but isn't an immediate thing.  So, guess we're back to the get better, get worse thing.  (since he's a fighter).  I talked to him last night & he's hoping to come home today.  He has had 3 blood transfusions over the last couple of days because his hemoglobin is so low, but is back up to a normal for him.  They banded the spots that were bleeding on the esophagus, and are saying they will have to redo that maybe 1 or 2 more times until it stops completely.  But, he sounds good.  He's lucid, and happy that I'm coming for a visit over Thanks giving Smile
