40/40 Thread for Week Ending 12/7/08 (Read 377 times)

Marathon Maniac #957

For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run or aspire to run 40 miles/week. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard... Here's what I have for last week's tally. Let me know if any changes or additions need to be made.
    WhoMilesCommentary
Dopple Bock134.5 Trying to burn off your overeat, I’d say you did it!
Hermosaboy90.1 Nice 20-miler, and speedy. I sympathize, ALL my 20-milers are by myself, and yes, they sure can be long, especially as slow as I am....
    Jim2431564 Nice Tuesday double
TomD57.75 Dude, Where’s the Trail 50K! I would not have such a good attitude about getting lost at that distance.
    Franc5956.1 Seattle Marathon!
Holly53.1 A little extra mileage for the pie.
SLOjim53 Lots of miles, nice and steady.
Barefoot Rick51.54 Solid and strong barefoot running
    Perch49.68K PR and 3rd AG – Nice!
Ultrachick46.2 Off schedule, but still running.
WillRunForBeer42 With a 5K Turkey Trot. Nice progression med LR, btw.
JDMom342 Made it! Hope your healing process moves quickly.
Breger41 Looks like you achieved Dopple Bock’s goals, even if he didn’t. Smile
Tetsujin40.2 Jumping right in with the Seattle Ghost Marathon. Smile

Here's my plan for this week. Another overeat scheduled for Saturday night (birthday celebration for DH), so I may run longer this week.

Surprise! Guess who's back... at least for this week. Not sure what next week will bring as it's a "cutback week," except for the long run. Anyhow, here's what I did this week.
